About us

Woodley Gentlemen’s Club is an occasional blues/jazz/pop/folk duo featuring Kevin (fiddle) and Laurie (guitar). Their eclectic repertoire and focus on entertainment has made them stalwarts of the Swanage Blues open mics (and the odd gig) since 2008.

Beside WGC, Kevin plays with the Reading Symphony Orchestra, in several folk duos and ceilidh bands, and with the Miracle Cure function band's Irish sessions. Laurie lives in Norfolk, where he performs with party rock band FireWire, Avenue Acoustic Duo and the Men from Uncle Barry. He is also called upon as a regular ‘bandleader’ at Norfolk Blues Society’s jams.
